🦑 OceanX Develop Machine Learning for Deep Sea Ocean Exploration and Conservation

🦈 SharkTrack A Machine Learning software that researchers use worldwide to analyse underwater videos (BRUVS) in near-instant time.

🐠 Community Fish Detector Pretrained fish object detectors trained on a community-built dataset: over 1.9 million images and 935,000 bounding boxes from 17 open datasets—freshwater, marine, and lab—with the goal of detecting fish anywhere.

📡 Palantir Technologies I deployed advanced technology to real world use cases at this world leading data company, delivering and creating multi-milion dollar contracts in the aviation and climate change sector.

🌎 Climate Pre Accelerator I founded a university accelerator that launched 30 climate tech startups. It was featured in Forbes and nominated Climate Innovator by UNICEF.

📈 CDR.FYI A data dashboard bringing transparency to the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) market. It now has more than 10k monthly users and was featured in the Wall Street Journaly and Yahoo Finance.

Deployed Real Time AI on OceanX Mission in Cabo Verde

07/07/2025: Deployed SeaSwipe, an AI Platform which ingests videos collected thousands of meters deep in real time and in real time it detects vulnerable organisms. The AI Model is included in a mobile application that expedition members can use to provide feedback to the model, which retrains in real time and improves its accuracy throughout the expedition.

Presented AI Work at OceanX at the United Nations Ocean Conference , viewed by 100,000 total visitors

16/10/2025: OceanX, in collaboration with other partners hosted the Deep Blue Pavillion at the United Nations Ocean Confernece. There, we showcased the AI Project we have been carrying out, to analyze deep sea video in real time, and detect organisms requiring protection.

SharkTrack deployed in the Revillagigedo Archipelago

01/06/2024: In collaboration with Pelagios Kakunja and Ocean Blue Tree, we deployed SharkTrack in the biggest MPA of North America, in a 3-week boat expedition to the archipelago

Imperial Climate Pre Accelerator Cohort 1 completed!

30/05/2023: The Cohort 1 supported 103 climate entrepreneurs to launch 13 Climate Tech startups. The pitch day awarded £4,000 in prizes and was attended by 100 partners and investors.
